No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. The Hive: A Center for Contemplation, Art, and Action

Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>ReDraw Your World: Changing Your Perspective</h2><h3>Domain: Creative Expression, Healing Work</h3><p>This workshop will explore techniques that will shift your attention from left brain to right brain, allowing you to see yourself and the world with a new perspective. You may find that working in a creative way allows you to explore your emotional blocks, and possibly what may be keeping you stuck. This unique drawing exercise will activate that expansive, open-hearted side of your brain that can help you uncover reasons for your stress, overwhelm, and even burn-out. Once you identify these blocks, solutions can be revealed, and your life can change from the inside out.</p><p>Practice techniques that will tap into your right side of your brain, engaging your creativity. Grow in your perspective of how you see yourself and your world.</p><p>No previous artistic experience required! Come with an open heart to play, learn, and grow.</p><p>A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 10 years of therapy experience, with an extensive focus on depression, anxiety, and relationship skills, Tracy has taught at Cincinnati State College and the University of Dayton educating students on drug &amp; alcohol counseling, group skills, social-emotional intelligence, anger management, &amp; relationship skills. As a Certified Creative Coach, Tracy inspires clients to release blocks through art &amp; exploration. She is also an Independent Artist who loves to draw, paint, and work with pastels. <em>“My passion is to make a picture come alive and touch the viewer's heart.”</em></p><h3>Covid Considerations: Masks are currently optional at the Hive. Individuals may choose to wear a mask for personal protection, and as always, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered.
