<p>&quot;Is Joe pye weed actually a weed?&quot; </p><p>Learn about the origins of local plant names and how they have framed our perspective of the local flora. Shawn Jalbert of Native Haunts Nursery in Alfred will guide participants through the fields of For All Forever Preserve, and discuss how the names of plants have affected our relationship to them, and the history of colloquial names. Part nature walk, part social studies lesson, this unique walk will be  a special treat! </p>
