Build or improve your internship program through a free workshop with Hello West Michigan and  Grand Valley State University.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to bolster your current program, our hands-on workshop is designed to leave participants feeling confident in what it takes to start or enhance an internship program. The ideal time to attend a training is three months prior to bringing an intern on board.The hosting school&#x27;s Subject Matter Expert on Internships will share the ins and outs of internships in today&#x27;s work environment. You&#x27;ll then hear first-hand experiences from an employer who started from scratch and built a program from the ground up, or a successful former student intern. We will dive deep into your questions about the recruiting process, and any other elements of interest, and you&#x27;ll end the workshop by putting your knowledge to the test by establishing you next steps. Be sure to bring your laptop so you can capture what is important for you.Location: This event will take place at the University Club (DEV 107C) on the GVSU Pew Campus.
