With tightly-crafted vignettes, storyteller Robin Schulte takes a unique look at growing up. By sharing moments of her own journey into awkward adolescence — and detailing parenting her own children through those stages — she reveals universal truths.How does the literary world of creative nonfiction meet the world of story as a performance art? With a Masters in Creative Nonfiction, Robin lives in both worlds as a literary writer and a storytelling performer. How do these arts differ? Robin Schulte has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from University of Central Florida. She is a winner of the National Storytelling Festival Slam and has been a featured performer at the Florida Storytelling Festival and Stone Soup Storytelling Festival. She has two audio recordings: Jack and the Levitator and Other Stories and Late. Night. Stop., which received a Storytelling World Honor Award.
