Description

6x8 Exhibition + Panel Discussion

The average prison cell in the united states is 6 by 8 feet. 6x8 Portrait is a photo documentary series examining the lives of prisoners, former prisoners and their families. Portraits by Denny Renshaw and written stories by Madison Peace will be exhibited in the O'Keeffe Student Union at The King's College, followed by a panel discussion hosted by Madison Peace with panelists Coss Marte, Sharon Richardson, Shakoure Charpentier, Rosalie Cutting, and Tobias Brown.

Join us for a panel discussion about incarceration, rehabilitation, prison reform, and faith with some of the Six by Eight Portrait photography subjects, each of whom served time in prison.

MEET THE PANEL

Coss Marte, founder of ConBody, a NYC-based exercise studio offering prison bootcamp-style classes and employing formerly incarcerated men and women
