Frequently asked questions

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A FISHING LICENSE?

No, the fishing license is included with all fishing charters. You do not need to purchase a separate fishing license.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?

A maximum of six guests are allowed per trip.

CAN WE KEEP THE FISH WE CATCH?

Yes, you can keep any legal fish that you catch (except for sharks - sharks are catch and release only.) The Captain will clean and bag your fish for you to take home.

IS THE FISHING VESSEL STATE OR FEDERALLY PERMITTED?

Our 32' Vessel is Federally Permitted. This allows you to fish in both State and Federal waters.

WHERE IS THE BOAT LOCATED (PICK-UP/DROP OFF LOCATION)?

All Flowing Water charters launch from the Heron Harbor (314 Harbor Blvd, Destin FL 32541).

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

We typically recommend arriving at the Heron Harbor 20 minutes early to get parking situated and to walk down to the dock. Please keep in mind, you will not be able to board until 5 minutes before your start time (e.g. for a 9am trip, you will not be able to board before 8:55am.)

WHERE DO WE PARK?

Option 1 - Paid parking right at the Heron Harbor (See the signs in the parking lot for information on how to pay via the mobile app.) Option 2 - Paid parking near the Emerald Grande (You would just walk 10 minutes East down the HarborWalk Village until you've reached us at the Heron Harbor!)

WHAT IF THERE ARE ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS?

Our charters go out rain or shine. However, if the Captain deems it unsafe to go out (i.e. high waves, high winds, lightning, etc) we’ll give you full credit to use on a future trip, or you can choose a full refund*. Otherwise, the standard cancellation & refund policies will be in place.
