It's game recognizing game when the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum plays host to the 2023 Hall of Game induction ceremony. Join us as we celebrate members of the Black Aces: Vida Blue (posthumous), Al Downing, Dwight Gooden, Mike Norris and Dontrelle Willis. The event will be hosted by comedian/actor, Greg Proops.Coined by the late, great Jim "Mudcat" Grant, the Black Aces are a rare group of African American pitchers to win 20 games or more in a Major League Baseball (MLB) season. Established by the NLBM in 2014, the Hall of Game honors former MLB greats who played the game in the spirit and signature style that made Negro Leagues Baseball a fan favorite. Ticket options include dinner/ceremony and ceremony only. All proceeds from the event benefit the NLBM.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is proud to debut our new exhibit Black Aces. This exhibit chronicles the legacy of Black and Latino pitchers.Thanks to our partners the Hearst Foundation, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and the State of Missouri for making this exhibit possible. Make plans to visit the FREE exhibit during the Hall of Game Induction weekend! Temporarily on display until September 30, 2023 only.
