Impersonators of Xipe Totec (IXT Studio for short) is an artist collective of three professional artists. Our small family business excels at drawing, painting, found art, paper mache sculpture, as well as digital media, and commercial art. We teach paint parties, art classes, and host family events locally, in West Palm Beach at different venues.

El día de Los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) is celebrated on Nov.1st and Nov. 2nd, in which the spirits of the dead return home to spend time with their relatives on these two days.To welcome them, altars are built in their honor by the family. These mostly include yellow marigolds, candles, photos of the deceased ones, papel picado or cut tissue-paper designs, as well as food and beverages offerings for the dead. It is common to see skulls or calaveras as decorations. But Day of the Dead is not a Mexican version of the Halloween; it's quite a different holiday.
