Intermediate Digital Photography w/ bryn

Youth in Focus (YiF) is Seattle-based nonprofit equipping the next generation of creative thinkers to meet the emerging needs of our global society. We believe in the power of photography. But even more than that, we believe in our youth. That's why we approach photography as a means of curiosity, exploration, and self-discovery. We create a safe, inclusive community, teach photography at no cost (or pay-what-you-can), and provide mentorship for South Seattle teens.

This class runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM,  September 26th - November 16th.

Using the building blocks of a beginning digital photography class, youth are encouraged to work on a theme through the course, culminating in two final prints that work in a series. Students will operate their cameras in full manual mode and practice more advanced editing techniques like compositing, layer masks, and clone stamps. To wrap up, you will print and frame your final images for the friends and family showcase!All Youth in Focus programs are FREE, and we provide free bus passes if needed. All supplies and equipment are provided. We are committed to equitable arts access for ALL youth ages 13-19 years old!If you would like to donate, your donation helps cover the cost of our amazing art educators, equipment, and program space!This c﻿lass runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM, Sept 26th -Nov 16th.
