In response, many industries are incorporating trauma-informed principles into their best practices. And this is a good thing! The worlds of yoga and mindfulness have taken great strides in understanding what is needed to create a container of safety, control and consent for all who participate.However, the Reiki world has lagged behind…In this 60-minute gathering, we’ll explore why it’s important for Reiki practitioners to have a working knowledge of what it means to be trauma-informed, and to integrate mindsets and practices that cultivate a trauma-informed lens into the practice of Reiki.This free class also serves as an introduction to our full-day course on Cultivating a Trauma-Informed Reiki Practice, coming up again September 23.SCHEDULE &amp; Logistics:Registration: These monthly classes are a free gift to the community, and you must register to attend. Once you’ve registered, the Zoom links and other updates will be emailed to you, and the recording shared afterward.Days / Times: HeartScapes-’ Free Community Class is normally held the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00am - 11:00am or 11:30am Pacific Time. Format: We meet live and virtually over Zoom. Sessions will be recorded and made available to those who are registered, and shared on my YouTube channel. Participant&#x27;s screens will not be shown in recording.
