This 8-part lecture series explores a pragmatic application of RFT and ACT in building and enhancing psychological flexibility.

<p>The Introduction to ACT and Psychological Flexibility lecture introduces and reveals the relationship of language with psychological well-being. The formation of psychological flexibility is conceptualized in connection with happiness, resilience, and competence. Each of the core processes of the ACT model are explored, and challenges to building and maintaining flexibility are examined. The influence of interrelated contextual variables (culture, gender, race, SES, age, training, etc.,) are considered in the development of psychological flexibility.</p>
