Do I have to stay for the whole time?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not! You may arrive as early as noon and the live music will go from about 12:30pm-2:30pm (with a brief intermission for speakers around 1:15 pm).  The event ends at 3pm. You may stop by at any point and stay as long as you like!

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Accepted Answer

The event will be held at Bear's Smokehouse BBQ and there is covered and uncovered seating. The indoor area is open-air and since the weather in NC is unpredictable, we recommend layers if it's chilly. Hopefully, the sun will be out for us!

Will there be non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes!

Question 4

You say it's family-friendly...but should I actually bring my kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we mean it when we say family-friendly! We would love for the whole family to come. We will have an area with crafts and activities for kids. We just ask that you keep an eye on your little ones.

Can I bring my dog?

Question 6

It says the lunch will be BBQ...will you have veggie/vegan options? What about non-pork options?

Accepted Answer

Short answer: yes! There will be portobello mushrooms as the vegetarian/vegan option for the main meal. All of the sides will be vegetarian, and one side will be vegan. If you don't eat pork, there will be a chicken option.
