Museum Dance Parties

This series of free events places dance and music at the center of our common humanity. Join us as we gather to dance in our museum as well as create community and learn about different types of dance traditions from around the world.

After our free <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/699764302867?aff=oddtdtcreator">Pizza Party for UNM and CNM students</a> takes place, we're opening up our courtyard for another night away of energetic fun in a cultural space transformed by glowing, colored lights and a booming sound system!T﻿he event is open to all, but will be curated especially for and with students and the UNM/CMU community. So come kick off the semester right, make new friends, and learn about what the museum will offer in Fall 2023.As musician Jorge Drexler reminds us, "Music teaches, dreams, hurts, and heals" and correctly states that humans "were already making music way before we knew agriculture." As such come celebrate humanity's creativity through art + movement!Registration is not required but helpful so that you can suggest dance songs for the collective music playlist.<h2><a href="https://bit.ly/CaveDance" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">F﻿or more info visit our Museum blog!</a></h2>
