Thriving Mindfully Moon Circle - Full Moon

Ananda Leeke is an award-winning Thriving Mindfully Coach, an artist, an author, a Human Design Doula, and an ordained interfaith minister. Ananda discovered mindfulness when her career as a lawyer, an investment banker, and a digital communications professional stressed her out, caused burnout, and did not produce the level of success she expected. As a result of her healing journey, she learned to navigate change, discovered her own resiliency, and became an artist-in-residence for Smith Center for Healing and the Arts at Howard University Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a certified mindfulness + yoga teacher, a digital wellness educator, and a reiki + sound healing practitioner. Today, she helps busy and stressed people nurture, transform, and celebrate their life, relationships, and career with mindful self-care, digital wellness, creativity, and Human Design. As the founder and Chief Mindfulness Officer of Ananda Leeke Consulting, a wellness company, she leads the Thriving Mindfully Academy, an online learning platform and membership site. She also hosts and produces the Thriving Mindfully Podcast. Her books, "Love’s Troubadours," a self-love and yoga-inspired novel; "That Which Awakens Me," a mindful creativity memoir; and "Digital Sisterhood," a mindful tech memoir, are available on Amazon. During the full moon circle, you will have an opportunity to practice mindful self-care with meditation, breathing exercises, gentle chair yoga, reflection, journaling, release and forgiveness, and self-celebration. Dress comfortably and bring your favorite journal and pen.

The moon is a feminine symbol that represents our feelings and intuition. Each month, Mama Moon or La Luna invites us to slow down, become still, and go within to reconnect with our spirit, heart, mind, and body through its sacred cycle of eight phases. The eight phases of the moon include:

<LI>New Moon (new beginnings, gather ideas, set intention & plan ahead for coming month)</LI>
<LI>Waxing Crescent Moon (affirm and make intention known with accountability and develop willpower to manifest intention)</LI>
<LI> First Quarter Moon (take action to manifest intention and overcome obstacles)</LI>
<LI>Waxing Gibbous Moon (check in and assess the viability of action needed to manifest intention; course correct where needed before moving forward)</LI>
<LI>Full Moon (open your heart to receive and celebrate the harvest of your past intentions and even your current intention)</LI>
<LI>Waning Gibbous Moon (slow down, get still, and go within to reflect on how you feel as you practice gratitude)</LI>
<LI>Third Quarter Moon (release and let go of habits and thought processes that hold you back, and forgive yourself)</LI>
<LI>Waning Crescent Moon (surrender and rest in preparation for the next moon cycle)</LI>
