I﻿n honor of the Hexagon Project's 2023 theme of Environmental Justice, Vanessa White Fernandes will facilitate a guided meditation with poetry honoring the Earth accompanied by Brenda Fernandes’ ambient soundscapes. A light continental breakfast will be served courtesy of ArtWorks and Beacon. Bring a yoga mat. Chairs provided. Vanessa White Fernandes is a local author and artist, also known affectionately around Scranton as the Hug Lady. Her primary intention daily is to cultivate her own peace and assist others in cultivating their inherent peaceful nature. She lives in Scranton with her wife and two cats. Musician/singer/songwriter Brenda Fernandes will assist in leading the meditation, chanting and providing live music.
