Unruly Women's Mountain Bike Group Ride at Theodore Wirth and Afterparty!

Unruly Women is hosting a special mountain bike group ride today!  We will be riding singletrack at Theo and then head over to Utepils!

Theodore Wirth Regional Park - Volleyball Courts

WHERE: This week, we&#x27;ll meet at the volleyball courts at Theodore Wirth Park and ride the southern sections. As usual, parking can be difficult, you are welcome to park at the main trailhead or golfcourse parking and then bike down to the volleyball courts on the designated sidewalks. ROLLOUT is 6:30PM, if you&#x27;re running late let me know via text and we&#x27;ll swing back through when you get there.ABOUT: This ride will be anywhere from 5-12 miles roundtrip, at a comfortable pace, no-drop / noone left behind ride. The distance depends on the group, temperature/weather/air quality and what folks feel like doing. Keep flexibility in mind as the destination/route may change due to closures, weather, etc.WHO: This group ride is open to all women/ female identifying /femme/non-binary individuals aged 18+, speed is anywhere from 5-12 mph but depends on the group - - you must be 18+ for this ride and 21+ to join the afterparty at Utepils. You must be 18+ for this ride and 21+ to join the afterparty at Utepils. We’ll be riding on single track. In order to participate you must:<ul><li>sign the waiver</li></ul><ul><li>secure a free ticket below</li></ul><ul><li>have a safe to ride / well functioning bike to use for this ride (make sure to check tire pressure, brakes and chain pre-ride)</li></ul><ul><li>wear a well fitting helmet</li><li>front light and rear red light (there’s a good chance we could ride into the night)</li><li>flat repair kits (in case you get a flat)</li><li>your own transportation to/from the trailhead(whether by car, bike, etc)</li><li>close toed shoes are recommended for safety</li></ul>Reminder: Biking itself is inherently dangerous, especially on single track. Please, only join this ride if you completely understand that you’re riding at your own risk and that ultimately you are an adult making decisions that effect you and your well being. Once you sign up, I&#x27;ll email you the waiver and you can join the Unruly Urban Group Ride!**AFTERPARTY** We will be heading over to Utepils Brewing after this ride. You can either drive or bike there if you want to join , it is .7 miles from the volleyball courts. There will most likely be a food truck there, but at this time it&#x27;s not posted yet. This will be an Unruly celebration!!!
