Dating back to the 1840s, this alternative photographic technique stands out due to its distinctive magical blueprinting photographic process that creates beautifully detailed prints in Prussian blue, using light. During this live, in-person workshop you’ll learn how to prepare and mix the natural chemicals needed to print, prepare “film” paper, and print. Materials/Equipment/Supplies: All materials included. If desired, a pair of gloves, an apron and wear clothing you don’t mind getting soiled. <ul><li>Sun print on fabric and learn how to further embellish prints with ink and paint, if desired. This workshop uses natural plants, botanicals and stencils as sources of inspiration. </li><li>Sun print on photo paper using my homemade “camera”. This workshop uses a Matisse technique as its printing inspiration. </li><li>During this workshop, participants sun print instructor-supplied negatives onto watercolor paper before scent waxing your final print. If you have a negative you&#x27;d like to try to print feel free to bring it! </li></ul>Time: Friday, August 11, 2023, 1pm-4pm Workshop: $55.00, plus tax all three activities are included in the price Class Limit: There is class minimum of one for this class to take place.
