Fiber Arts Festival Omaha!Where science, nature and art meet. Dye naturally using found rusty things. Important: In the interest of time, because rusting is a process that takes time (and is not an exact science), I’ll teach you a quick method of rusting. During the process you’ll begin the rusting process on Day One. Your piece will remain in-studio until Day Two of the workshop (note the calendar date) when you’ll embellish your canvas fabric collage using my rust paints, India ink and other natural elements. Materials/Supplies: On Day One bring rusted items! Old keys, wire, small rusted tools and other rusty items. Happy hunting! This is a two-day workshop. Please note the dates.Time: Friday, August 11, 2023, 10am-11:30amSunday, August 13, 2023, 10am-11:30amWorkshop: $45.00 Class Limit: There is class minimum of two for this class to take place.
