UPDATE TUESDAY 8/24 NOON: WE ARE AT CAPACITY. THOSE WITH FREE TICKET RESERVATIONS MUST BE SEATED PRIOR TO 7PM IN ORDER TO HOLD A SEAT. AT 7PM, STANDBY TICKET HOLDERS WILL FILL EMPTY SEATS (OR REMAIN STANDING OR SIT IN ADJACENT ROOM WITH LIMITED VIEW). WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION! Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, dedicating our Steinway Grand Piano in honor of Don &amp; Cheryl DeJong. Come learn why the Steinway Model B has been called &quot;the perfect piano.&quot; This is a free community event. Ticket reservations suggested. The concert features the incredible talent of famed jazz pianist Donald Ryan who will delight with classical, jazz, ragtime, gospel, Broadway show tunes, and music from his native Trinidad and Tobago. Vocalist Stephanie Hardin will be featured on some selections. This event is Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 7:00 PM and will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The concert will close with a short tribute to Don and Cheryl DeJong who served our church and community during their 38 years in Forney. Held in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church located at 12433 Farm to Market Road 1641, Forney, TX 75126. Light refreshments served. Nursery provided. Masks welcome, but not required.Whether you are friends of Don &amp; Cheryl, a music enthusiast, or simply want to enjoy an evening out, this concert promises to be a memorable experience.
