<h2>Saturday, August 26, is the Opening Day of the 2023 Exhibition, <em>Public by Design</em>, with three special events that are free and open to the public!</h2><h3>The Opening Day begins with a guided Tour of the 2023 Exhibition. </h3><h3><strong></strong><a href="https://www.ihg.com/hotelindigo/hotels/us/en/columbus/clubs/hoteldetail?cm_mmc=GoogleMaps-_-IN-_-US-_-CLUBS" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>T﻿his event is presented by Hotel Indigo Columbus Architectural Center</strong></a>.</h3><h3>All thirteen participant teams will be on hand to discuss their work in this cycle of Exhibit Columbus. Installations will be activated throughout the day with pop-up activities for relaxing, entertainment, and connecting with new and old friends.</h3><h3>The thirteen installations in Exhibit Columbus were created by:</h3><ul><li>Four J. Irwin and Xenia S. <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/miller-prize" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Miller Prize</a> Recipients</li><li>Seven University Design Research <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/udrf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fellows</a></li><li>High School Design <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/high-school-design-team" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Team</a></li><li>Communication <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/signals" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Designer</a> </li></ul><h3>Coffee and light pastries will be offered at <a href="https://www.ihg.com/hotelindigo/hotels/us/en/columbus/clubs/hoteldetail" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hotel Indigo</a> before the Exhibition Tour begins. The tour will begin at the installation, <em><strong>PIPE UP!</strong></em> by UDRF <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/htfd" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Team</a> Halina Steiner, Tameka Baba, Shelby Doyle, and Forbes Lipschitz, located on the southwest corner of 5th Street and Brown Street.</h3><h3>P﻿lease register so we can have a good count of attendees.</h3>

This weekend is the only opportunity during the exhibition’s three-month run to see the exhibition alongside all the architects, landscape architects, artists, and designers who created the installations, as well as Columbus residents and visitors from around the world.</p>
