Yes, everyone, from 3 to 103 can take advantage of the many benefits of Ballroom dance – mind, body and soul -- of this beautiful form of dance. DanceSport Club's goal is to make Ballroom dance and Latin dance fun and accessible to the general public, especially for beginners. We intend to provide an environment that supports teaching, training and encouraging creative expression for those Ballroom dancers geared toward more active, athletic competition, and/or performance Ballroom dance and Latin dance, known as DanceSport. In order to achieve this type of environment, we hope to start by providing a place for dancers to practice their skills and interact with other like minded individuals in a social dancing setting. DanceSport Club offers the community entry level instruction of Ballroom dance and Latin dancing. It also provides people with a place where they can practice on their own and socialize with others who are striving to improve their dancing as well.The new Ballroom dance studio facility features a beautiful, competition-size dance floor created using an advanced sprung dance floor system which makes it feel soft and cushiony, like you're dancing on air. In addition, the ballroom dance studio boasts a state-of-the-art sound system and an air and filtration system which takes air quality into high consideration. In addition, we will provide a variety of special amenities such as showers, vending machines, and an adjacent dancewear store for all your ballroom dance attire needs. We believe that summertime is fun time! That is why we are starting our <A HREF="http://www.dancesportclub.com/latin-dance-party-houston-salsa-bachata-cumbia-merengue/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Latin Dance Party</A> in June.
Join us on our spacious dance floor at DanceSport Club. We will play a mix of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and Merengue. Social dancing is the best and most fun way to learn, practice and have fun dancing Salsa, Bachata and Merengue! We welcome singles, couples, newbies and pros. Everyone helps each other learn and improve their Salsa / Bachata techniques with great music and fun people!
Before the party we will have a mini-lesson. It will be free with admission to the dance. We will give you a refresher in case you forgot some moves or will teach you new ones. But we will keep it basic, simple and fun.
