QPR is a suicide prevention training for community members to be able to recognize and respond to signs of mental health needs.

If the training reaches capacity, we will offer an additional session from 1-3 p.m. on August 16th in the same space. Please watch your emails for additional information and tickets to be released for the afternoon session.

<h3>Join us as the Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC) in collaboration with the SCC Native American Student Success Center and the SCC Staff Resource Center presents an important mental health/suicide prevention training opportunity for our SCC classified professionals, faculty, student employees, and administrators during our Professional Development &amp; Learning Week for Fall 2023. </h3><h3>SCC employees who participate in this training will be able to: </h3><ul><li>Recognize the warning signs of suicide</li><li>Know how to offer hope </li><li>Know how to get help to save a life</li></ul><p><strong>L﻿ocation:</strong></p><p>L﻿earning Resource Center - 105</p><p></p><p><em>Additional information about SNAHC and their other programs, and a registration form for the SNAHC team's data use will be requested at event location.</em></p><p></p><h3>P﻿lease note: </h3><h3>*﻿* Space is limited for this event and registration is on a first come/first serve basis.
