Fitbit X Mental Health Mates

Fitbit has partnered with community interest group Mental Health Mates which is a network of peer support groups, run by people with mental health issues, for the first ‘Fitbit on Foot’ event! Let us take you on a walk along Sandymount Strand promenade at 11:00AM on Sunday 11th August.
Hosted by Fitbit and a Mental Health Mates walk leader, the hour-long walk will provide a safe space to talk to others about mental health free from the judgement. Fitbit together with Mental Health Mates introduces a series of walks to get the UK & Ireland outdoors with friends, families, neighbours and strangers to walk and talk about mental health benefits whilst making the most of the summer weather.
The walk along the promenade will not only provide exercise, which has benefits to mental health, but will also give you the chance to relax and enjoy some time outdoors in the Irish summertime.
For those who attend on the day, they’ll also be the chance to win one of two Fitbit Versa Lite smartwatches!
