Meet the ECPRO Board and mingle with our August featured speaker, Lisa Darnell, APR on August 7 from 5:30-6:30pm at the Island hotel!This complimentary after hours networking event is open to the public and capacity is limited to the first 100 who RSVP through Eventbrite.Lisa served as the 2022 President of Southern Public Relations Federation, which represents the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Northwest Florida. She currently works in the Office of the President and CEO of the International Fertilizer Development Center. Her current scope of work includes improving employee morale, planning international conferences for 2024, moving a committee forward on their tasks, and general brand management in the community and beyond (within the region). O﻿n Tuesday, August 8th, Lisa is giving an overview of the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) process. Her presentation is entitled, &quot;APR: 5 W’s, an H and a bonus Who.&quot; She will answer these questions:<ul><li>Who should pursue APR?</li><li>What – What exactly is the “process”?</li><li>When - When should I pursue APR?</li><li>Where – Where can I find opportunities to learn?</li><li>Why – Why should I pursue accreditation?</li><li>How – How can I complete the process?</li><li>Bonus – Learning can be for everyone</li></ul>
