Bring your K-8th grade students to a free STEM Saturday event, where students will explore electricity through hands-on activities.Free event, lunch provided, raffles and awards.<h3>Student objectives: </h3>• Explore how electrical energy is converted into other forms of energy like motion, light, and sound. Consider how this makes our lives easier.• Investigate the differences and similarities between static and current electricity.• Understand the electron's role in a circuit.• Use a multimeter to measure electrical values and learn the relevant vocabulary for measuring electricity. Masks are not required but recommended. We will have masks on-site for use, equipment will be sanitized and hand sanitizer will be available. If you or a family member are ill, we ask that you do not participate in our event until you are well.
