Learn how to be strategic and purposeful in your advocacy work in order to achieve positive impacts at national, state, and local levels. Learn the issues facing our industry today and how you can be an effective voice.Mary currently serves as a member of the AIA National Strategic Council, is a long-time member of AIACA Advocacy Advisory Committee and past AIACA Vice President of Government Relations. She also served as President of City of San Jose Association of Engineers and Architects, Executive Vice-President of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, Local 21, Chairperson of AIA Colorado State Government Affairs, President of AIA Santa Clara Valley and is the 2022-2023 President of AIA Ventura County. Mary is licensed in California and Colorado. Her career includes Building Official for Boulder Colorado, and Senior Architect for the City of San Jose, California. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science from DePaul University. T﻿hank you to our General Meeting sponsor!
