The Desert Winds Celebrates 15 years!

Hailed as one of the finest wind ensembles in the country, The Desert Winds celebrates its 15th season with 6 exciting musical performances celebrating its Past, Present, and Future!   Under the direction of Dr. Charles Maguire, Artistic Director.

Join Desert Winds on February 17, 2024, for a symphonic voyage that transcends time. From the soul-stirring trumpet cries of John Williams, promising hope and unity, to the historic echoes of the River Cam&#x27;s bridges in Eric Whitacre&#x27;s cello-led masterpiece, and culminating in the fierce tempests of Paul Dooley&#x27;s Mavericks, capturing nature&#x27;s raw might. Experience a musical tapestry where unity meets audacity. Dive into a world where every note is a story, every crescendo a climax of human spirit. An evening not to be missed!
