Dance Canvas is excited to partner again with the Aurora Theatre for our FREE Artist-to-Artist classes.

Dance Canvas and Aurora Theatre invite Broadway dreamers of all ages and skill levels to get up and dance in the spirit of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical! Join Atlanta’s esteemed Director and Choreographer David Rosetti (read more about his outstanding career below!) and dancers from the Aurora Theatre’s production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as they lead dancers through an engaging workshop, learn repertory from the show, and have the chance to network with Rosetti and two members of the cast before opening night.The beginner-level class is open to all! All attendees under the age of 18 must complete a liability waiver prior to entering the workshop. Please download and submit the waiver (<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uHoBSKII-BBa2QDdpS-j7L8dj5McN7Al/view?usp=sharing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">located here</a>) to info@dancecanvas.com alongside registering for the event. The waiver can also be found on the <a href="https://www.auroratheatre.com/productions-and-programs/view/beautiful-dance-workshop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Aurora Theatre’s website</a> under this event. Failure to submit the waiver will result in your student losing participation in the workshop. **Please ensure that you are able to attend the workshop prior to reserving a slot; Cancellations result in other dancers being unable to take advantage of this free class. If you cancel your participation with less than 3 days' notice, you will be ineligible to attend the next FREE Artist-to-Artist workshop.

David Rossetti (Director/Choreographer/Performer) is excited for another year collaborating with Dance Canvas and their community programs in conjunction with Aurora Theatre and their production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. David has performed on Broadway (Annie Revival), in four national tours (Fame, Hairspray, Joseph…Dreamcoat, &amp; Something Rotten) and conducted workshops and intensives all over the country (and Japan!) He served as Associate Choreographer to Tony-winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Cats, Hamilton, In The Heights, Annie) for the national and international tours of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He made his Broadway debut in the revival of Annie at The Palace Theatre where he was dance captain, swing, and understudy for the role of “Rooster.” Select performing credits: Spamalot (Sir Robin), Anything Goes (Sir Evelyn), Chicago (Amos), Cabaret (Emcee), The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Chip), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert). After 13 years in the Big Apple he relocated to Atlanta where he directs, choreographs, performs, and continues to use his experience to educate and work with young artists.
