Comedy show, silent auction and raffle to benefit HRR - your advocates for the modern flood control system North Adams deserves!

We hope you’ll support HRR during a night of laughter and camaraderie at the North Adams Elks Lodge on Saturday, October 14!T﻿ickets cost $25 and include:<ul><li>P﻿erformances by 3 hilarious comedians who perform all over the U.S.!</li><li>A﻿ robust silent auction!</li><li>L﻿ight appetizers provided by Door Prize, plus other snacks! (There will be a cash bar.)</li></ul>D﻿oors open at 6:30 pm for the Silent Auction, with the Comedy Show and Raffle starting at 8:00 pm. We encourage you to arrive early and have fun!The headliner for the comedy show is Nancy Norton from Denver, who won the Boston Comedy Festival and has performed all over the US as well as internationally. The show will also feature local comedians Mark Jagiello (Adams) and Charlie Nadler (North Adams).$5 Raffle Tickets will also be available for additional purchase at the event! We are raffling 2 items: 1) Half-day guided fly fishing trip for 2 with Berkshire Rivers Fly Fishing, and 2) 18 holes of golf for 2 with a cart at Taconic Golf Club. Raffle tickets will be for sale at the event, or you can leave us a message at 413-398-5288 if you want to buy tickets in advance. Hoosic River Revival (HRR) is a volunteer organization dedicated to transforming the aging Hoosic River flood chutes in North Adams using leading-edge engineering and naturalization measures to reduce flood risk and enhance climate resilience. We envision an attractive, accessible, healthy, flood-controlled river, which will enhance our downtown and the quality of life for all residents, businesses, and visitors. HRR will accomplish this through advocacy, education, and action in partnership with the City of North Adams (CoNA) and other stakeholders.
