Hi Everyone,The current Mental Health Crisis is an opportunity for us to change.My name is Mat Robinson, also known as The Gregarious Hermit.A few years ago, I was overwhelmed with work, stressed and depressed, to the point that I would wake up each morning feeling sick and with a sense of panic. The final straw was when my best friend was diagnosed with brain cancer.The subsequent questioning of life’s purpose gave me tremendous insight into the nature of the mind and how it makes us unhappy despite an abundance of things that promise otherwise.Since the pandemic started, I was troubled to see so many other people were struggling with mental health issues, so I have been sharing my story and the tools I discovered.I teach meditation for stress relief as well as observing and identifying the unnecessary conversations in the mind. I teach mindfulness to allow people to remain present, focused on the physical aspects of their life and work rather than getting wrapped up in the stories in their head. And finally, I teach people how to experience unconditional love and apply it to every aspect of their life.
