Nature & Flow: Creating Concentric Patterns Inspired by Nature III

Welcome! Starting March 21st, e are offering arts and crafts workshops on Sundays, 3 - 4pm weekly, for kids and teens. Register for a workshop that is right for you!

Week three of exploring how-to-draw leaves, moss, fungi, twigs, and shells to create unique concentric circles filled with patterns (nature mandalas). If you missed previous classes, you can still participate! Each workshop in this series expands on the previous but is capable of being a stand-alone workshop as well. Students will receive step-by-step instruction on how to create a mandala and are invited to incorporate nature's treasures from the landscapes in which they live. We'll explore textures, patterns and depth. At the end of the course, students will have completed a mandala that they can frame, gift, or continue adding detail(s).Terms we will be exploring during our class:1. Isosceles2. Parasympathetic3. ReflectionSupplies: Supplies: paper (11x 14; 9x 11; any size), pencil, eraser, ink pen, 10" pot or bow to trace, 5" pot or bowl to trace, nickel, penny, quarter, a journal and your imagination.*﻿*These classes ask for a donation, big or small, that fits your budget.
