L﻿oki Karuna (formerly Garrett McQueen), President of <a href="https://www.trillwerks.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TrillWerks Media</a>, Executive Producer/Co-host, <a href="https://www.trilloquy.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Trilloquy</a> PodcastLoki Karuna (formerly Garrett McQueen) is an interdisciplinary arts activist who has enjoyed a successful career as a bassoonist, flutist, and conductor. In addition to remaining active in performance spaces, Karuna serves as the Director of Artist Equity for the American Composers Orchestra. He is the President of TrillWerks Media. In 2021, the New York Times noted his weekly podcast, “<a href="https://www.trilloquy.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TRILLOQUY</a>,” as a standout that is "required listening for industry leaders and listeners alike." In addition to his podcast, he hosts various nationally-syndicated radio programs.

S﻿teve Nelson, Vice President, Weekly Content &amp; Production, <a href="https://lemonadamedia.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lemonada Media</a>Steve Nelson is a public radio leader and producer with a 20-year history of launching new shows and stations. Currently, he is <a href="https://lemonadamedia.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lemonada Media</a>’s Vice President of Weekly Content. Nelson has helped launch dozens of podcasts, including "Wiser Than Me" with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and "Funny Cuz It's True" with Elyse Myers. He’s also been a programming executive at National Public Radio and American Public Media and Program Director for the Minneapolis independent music station The Current.

T﻿wila Dang Founder, <a href="https://www.matriarchdm.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Matriarch Digital Media</a>, and Host/Producer; small change: Money Stories from the Neighborhood, MPR NewsTwila Dang is the Founder of <a href="https://www.matriarchdm.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MATRIARCH DIGITAL MEDIA</a> (MDM). Matriarch is an education and entertainment platform created for women by women. They specialize in women-centered podcasts and produce on-demand content that is self-renewing and evergreen. MDM creators are passionate about speaking to women about various topics: body image, health, relationships, food, and life span changes. With Matriarch, Dang is changing how the world talks to and about women and girls.Dang also created WOMEN IN PODCASTING, an initiative for any woman interested in the podcast industry. Dang is also a Senior Producer at MPR News where she produces the podcasts “small change: Money Stories from the Neighborhood” and “Untangled Roots.”

Kevin Stockard, M.D., physician and engineer with Abbott Laboratories (Panel Moderator)Kevin Stockard has been a member of TCBJ for the past four years. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, he is happy to be able to help others through his work as a physician and engineer with Abbott Laboratories in Little Canada. Stockard’s current focus is an artificial heart valve that is slated for FDA approval in 2025. He holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Ohio State, an M.A. in Mathematics from Washington University, and an M.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. When he’s not saving lives or supporting TCBJ, Stockard loves traveling, perfecting his craft as a portrait artist, and mentoring aspiring doctors and engineers.
