The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance's mission is to serve as a positive voice for mountain biking in Boulder County, Colorado by improving the trail experience for all users through social rides and events, advocacy, and trail building. WHO THIS CLINIC IS FORTo attend this clinic, you should be confident on your bike with a solid understanding of basic skills (our Fundamentals and Climb &amp; Descend classes are a great place to start). You must be able to demonstrate a ready/attack position at the beginning of class and have a working knowledge of various kinds of wheel lifts.DESCRIPTIONYou’re an intermediate rider ready to get air. In this clinic designed for more experienced riders, you’ll discover how to ride larger drops (like the first drop on the large Slopestyle line at Valmont) with confidence and learn the basics of getting into the air with basic jumping skills.In addition to reviewing Climbing &amp; Descending skills you’ll learn how to:<ul><li>Review Intermediate Climbing &amp; Descending skills</li><li>Manual and bunny hop</li><li>Multiple ways to drop off obstacles</li><li>Proper landing position and technique for drops and jumps</li><li>Safely approach a jump and boost the lip to get higher in the air</li></ul>Maximum 10 students. No matter how you ride your bike, you&#x27;re about to ride it better!Clinics meet on the east side of park by the dog park. Meet at the picnic table pavilion.Start Time: 5:30 pm (please be there at 5:15 pm to allow ample prep time)COSTWe love to ride and we know that you do too so we try to keep our expenses low and then pass that savings onto our members.
