Elected officials will share their policy ideas to address the current Jackson County Tax Reassessment fiasco. It's time for solutions.

So, please consider joining us at the church. </h3><h3>I﻿f you are coming in person, YOU DO NOT NEED A (PRINTED) TICKET. Just come as you are. </h3><p>Elected officials as they share their policy ideas to address the nightmare of the current reassessment process that has so many homeowners fearful of losing their homes.  You can attend in person (registration is required), or virtually on Zoom (link will be sent on Friday).</p><p>W﻿e will hear from 3 elected officials who are interested in helping taxpayers, fortunately:</p><p>MO State Rep. Jeff Coleman - Has a bill that would cap tax increases at 2%, and freeze taxes for seniors 65 &amp; over.</p><p><strong>J﻿ackson County Legislators: </strong></p><p>B﻿oth support legislation that is the companion piece to the newly signed SB 190 just signed by  Governor Parson, and that support seniors and other taxpayers. </p><p>S﻿ean Smith</p><p>M﻿anny Abarca</p><p>A﻿ttorney Sherry DeJanes will explain how to pay property taxes under protest, in the event that people want to.</p>
