<h2>About RTP180</h2><p>Innovation. Education. Industry. These are powerful angles—and what Research Triangle Park is known for. At RTP180, speakers from our founding Universities, Park companies and the North Carolina community at-large, are called upon to speak passionately and authentically about what matters to them. The twist? They must do it in 5 minutes or less! </p><p>We ask our speakers to be intentional with their 300 seconds on stage. What perspective of their industry are they able to share? What are their passions? What would our community be surprised to learn? What case studies in North Carolina are cutting edge? </p><h2>This Month</h2><p>This month we are bringing in the experts to present their unique take on The Science Behind It. Our speakers will share new research that builds on our understanding of the world, it’s people and the interactions we have. Join us to learn about various aspects of forensic science, food science, psychology and more!</p><p>Prior to the start of the show, join us at 5:00 p.m. for refreshments and networking. Local science organizations will be tabling during this time. We&#x27;re excited to have the <a href="https://triangleland.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Triangle Land Conservancy</a> join us to table about preserves in the area. You also won&#x27;t want to miss the meteorite identification booth with <a href="https://moreheadplanetarium.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Morehead Planetarium and Science Center</a>the telescopes on display from <a href="https://raleighastro.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Raleigh Astronomy Club</a>.  </p><p>When you come early, you can enjoy a complimentary <a href="https://www.ilovelocopops.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Locopop</a> to keep you cool during this summer heat.
