As an independent music venue, the Skylark Upstairs (aka Bobcat Club) is focused on highlighting great up and coming local and national acts. Mayfield’s distinct take on the genre blends Wilco-esque musicality with the dynamics and melodic edge of fourth-wave emo to create a sound all his own. They practiced for months to make sure every guitar part and every vocal melody was exactly how they wanted. Then in November 2020, finally made their way into the studio to record their debut album “Out At Sea” in two days. All of the music was recorded live, in the studio, as a band. Rob and Arianne recorded vocals for 10 songs in less than 8 hours. Their first single &quot;Always On My Time” and was released April 16, 2021. The next single &quot;Out At Sea&quot; will be released June 4, 2021!   merge a vast range of both musical and geographic influences. From dive bars in Cleveland to warehouse shows in West Texas and classical performance halls in Australia, the band members have earned their stripes as musicians. With a wide variety of influences from bands like , , , and , they have created a sound that&#x27;s all their own.   Frontman gained attention as a solo act in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Colorado and released a solo album called In 2018, joined up with keyboardist and singer Arianne Rabbitt, lead guitarist Josh Miles, bassist Matthew Vermillion, and drummer Adam Segalis, who have all performed in various bands in the Denver music scene over the past several years.<a href="https://www.instagram.com/themaggievalleyband/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">T﻿he Maggie Valley Band</a>Hailing from North Carolina, two sisters and friends of the Maggie Valley band came together in the town they now identify themselves with. Each member learned their trade of music in the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Sisters Whitney &amp; Caroline Miller grew up in a home where playing the piano was a daily requirement. Daily requirements turned to passion as they hit the streets to street busk. After years of busking, The Maggie Valley Band was officially formed and decided to take it inside-to venues. TMVB released their first album under the direction of Grammy nominated producer, David Mayfield .
