A special opening reception with the artists for Marshall Gallery's new group exhibition, Into the Uncanny Valley.

Marshall Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition featuring new works involving concepts around machine learning, the socio-politics of geography, artificial aesthetics, and urbanization. The artists included, Kaya &amp; Blank, Cody Cobb and Alex Turner, explore these topics through nocturnal photographic and video-based practices to create or document enigmatic and potentially deceiving landscapes. An opening reception with the artists will be held on Friday, July 14th from 6-9 pm with a talk at 7:00 pm. The conversation will be moderated by Kate Palmer Albers, writer and educator in the history and theory of photography, whose most recent publication is The Night Albums: Visibility and the Ephemeral Photograph from UC Press. Farmer&#x27;s market bites and drinks will be served. Plenty of free public parking is avaialble on site at Bergamot Station Arts Center.
