<h2>"What is a speedrun?" you ask</h2><ul><li>It's speed networking, but not any ol' speed networking. </li></ul><ul><li><em><strong>Attendees are curated by profession, there is a different theme each month, and it is GUIDED.</strong></em> </li></ul><ul><li>"﻿What do you mean guided?" you ask. </li></ul><ul><li>G﻿uided means you are handed a card at registration that offers example questions and topics, goals for each connection, next steps for each connection, and more. <strong>It's not just sitting down and saying "so what do you do?"</strong> because we know that's soul-sucking. </li></ul><ul><li>Y﻿ou'll walk away with meaningful connections in your industry, and an idea of what to do next. Even if you hate speed networking (uh we do), you'll love BASHH's Speedrun Edition! </li></ul><h3></h3><h3>JULY IS FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS ONLY. </h3><h3>T﻿his will be the second ever event and we're only opening it up to one or two dozen folks. </h3><h2></h2><h2>A﻿GENDA: </h2><ul><li>9﻿:00 - 10:00 // PRE-EVENT, we'll be setting up, but you can come snag breakfast at one of the food trucks in the outdoor patio out back. </li></ul><ul><li>1﻿0:00 - 10:15 // <strong>Sign-in at registration</strong>, order a drink and/or snack, and MINGLE</li></ul><ul><li>1﻿0:15 - 10:30 // Instructions for guided 1:1s</li></ul><ul><li>1﻿0:45 - 12:00 // <strong>S P E E D R U N</strong> !  With one quick break for drinks/potty</li></ul><ul><li>I﻿f you want to stay and keep chatting past noon,  you're welcome to linger if you're making good connections and feelin' it. </li></ul><h3></h3><h2>PREPARATION, WHAT TO BRING, WHAT TO WEAR: </h2><ul><li>Answering "what do you do" sucks, and although we'll have guidance for you, <strong>practice your "pitch" in advance</strong>, it's much easier, we promise. Don't bring a printed resume, pets, balloons, BaD viBeS, mimes, or pine cones. </li></ul><ul><li><strong>D﻿ress is casual</strong> because we're outdoors and it might be toasty. If you feel like wearing a collar, fine, but no suits. Seriously. We'll be outdoors at shady picnic tables over coffee, don't overthink this. </li></ul><p></p><h2>**IMPORTANT - WHAT + WHERE TO ORDER**: </h2><ul><li>If you're curious about why this is on a Saturday MORNING, it's because <strong>we're working hard to include the sober community</strong>. There aren't many events our sober friends can event that aren't about sobriety itself, and they *deserve* a normal ass networking event, don't you think? </li></ul><ul><li>Because of that, <strong>we ask you to NOT ORDER ALCOHOL</strong>. It's there, on the menu, but we ask you to be considerate and stick to their phenomenal coffee, lattes, teas, sparkly drinks, bottled drinks, and pastries. Please don't be a dick about it. </li></ul><ul><li>P﻿lease don't go stand in line indoors like a commoner unless it's pre-event or intermission, there is a <strong>QR code on every table that will offer you the menu </strong>and they'll bring it out.
