(General Admission)LPT SALSA / FELICITA / LA CHOLOTECA ********************************************LPT Salsa LPT is a 10-piece orchestra delivering salsa and Afro-Cuban music with their high-energy live shows. The group came together with the mission of keeping legit 'Descarga' salsa alive. Formed in 2013, the crew realized that playing salsa music was a way to share the diversity of the area with a new, young audience, while still giving the seasoned salsa veterans a taste of that old school. LPT are becoming the new ambassadors of Salsa music in the Southeast, using the music to bridge gaps between cultures. Dancing and joy has no owner and LPT is well-poised to reinforce the freedom, love and inclusion at the heart of Salsa music and in the hearts of all that enjoy the shows.Felicita Born in Palm Springs, California in 1994, Felicita moved to Atlanta, GA at the age of 2. While she was in multiple dance groups and bands, she did not begin to sing professionally until the age of 17. At the age of 18, she began writing and singing at local restaurants. Graduated from Pebblebrook High School's Magnet School of the Performing Arts with specialty in Voice. Felicita is currently, studying at Georgia State University. As of 2016, Felicita is the founder of, Travelin' Music Lessons and blog, The Curious Woman. Felicita has and continues to record, perform, and write with many artists in the Atlanta area. La CholotecaInitially beginning as a house party between friends, "La Choloteca: Ley de Latinx" seeks to provide an all inclusive, safe(r) and accessible space to commemorate the Latinx community. With sounds ranging from salsa, merengue y Kumbia hasta reggaeton, rock y pop en espanol, this event strives to honor our Amerindian and African roots. Choloteca is a project started by Josephine Figueroa, Kenneth Figueroa, Randall Ruiz and Luis Sandoval.
