<h1>Exploring Opera: Two's Company - Part II</h1><h3>Three Thursdays, February 15, 22 &amp; 29</h3>1-2:15pm (PT), 2-3:15pm (MT), 3-4:15pm (CT), 4-5:15pm (ET)on Zoom*From a noble pledge of friendship to a delicious seduction to an ardent declaration of love, from an evening prayer to a tragic finale, duets in opera are found in a variety of situations and express a myriad of emotions.Journey with instructor James Sokol through a wide range of repertoire to experience the blending of two voices in glorious music.In this series, Part-II, explore tenors, baritones &amp; basses paired with each other.Attending Part-I is NOT a prerequisite for joining Part-II. <h3>A﻿bout James Sokol</h3>James Sokol worked in the opera world for over two decades after having begun his career under Beverly Sills at New York City Opera. While in New York, he was a Founding Member of The Singers Development Foundation, an organization which offers study grants to promising young opera singers. He worked on projects with Cincinnati Opera and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. In the Bay Area, James has been on the staff of San Francisco Opera and is a former Executive Director of Pocket Opera. He continues to teach opera appreciation classes throughout the Bay Area and online.Currently, James is the Director of Adult &amp; Senior Programs at the Osher Marin JCC. In addition to offering a variety of classes, lectures, excursions, and other interesting activities, James creates and leads Cultural Arts Trips. He takes small groups of travelers on exciting journeys to destinations such as Broadway, Chicago, Santa Fe, Paris, Amsterdam, Cuba, Spain, India, Morocco and more.

<h3>Ticket &amp; Notes: </h3>"Early Bird" Series Ticket ($37.50 / $12.50 per class): Available until 48-hours prior to the first class."Regular" Series Ticket ($45 / $15 per class): Available until the start of the last class.Tickets: All tickets are 1) are per device, not per person, on Zoom, and 2) are non-refundable &amp; non-exchangeable. Ticket to individual classes are not available.
