The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents more than 33,000 members in more than 200 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession. The Northeastern PA chapter sponsors monthly luncheons, seminars, and continuing education workshops for nonprofit organization professionals in the Greater Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. The Cafe

It can be hard to build a team that executes your vision, but it may be even harder to keep that team together after they prove their worth. Join Leonard Workforce Solutions Founder and President Bill Leonard to talk about tracking down the right people, bringing them aboard and making sure they remain with your organization. A short networking session is at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation and lunch by the amazing chefs at The Cafe beginning at noon. After the program, there will be time for questions. Tickets are $30 for in-person attendance or $20 if opting for the virtual option.
