Join us for the WCDEA Working Equitation Clinic with Katie Stearns on Saturrday September 23, 2023 at 9:00am at Sunset Farm Park, 7977 Blaine road Blaine, Washington.Katie Stearns hails from Arlington but has taught and ridden all over the world. Katie is an interntationally-ranked mounted archer who has trained and competed across the globe. She runs Flying Dutchess Ranch in Arlington, WA where she trains both horses and humans in the sports of mounted archery and working equitation. Katie is a master at starting young horses using natural horsemanship to instill a strong foundation for any discipline. Riding her Lusitano stallion Drogo Katie earned a 2022 USAWE IALHA High Point Award so she has a lot of knowledge to pass along.Whether you're new to Working Equitation or a seasoned pro, this clinic is for you. You'll have the opportunity to work with Katie one-on-one and get personalized feedback on your skills. You'll also have the chance to network with other riders and learn from their experiences. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn from one of our local working equitation experts! Reserve one of the limited spots today before they fill up!NOTE: OVERNIGHT HORSE CAMPING IS AVAILABLE!If you're planning to ride in both this clinic and the following day's schooling show, there is overnight camping with your horse available for purchase for $25/horse/night. There are 10 very small grassy paddocks with a water spigot available. You can car camp or tent camp right there with your horse for the night between the two events! Paddocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they're gone, they're gone.** To reserve your overnight paddock please email: Deirdra.D@gmail.com. **Horse Camping at Sunset Farm Park RULES:1. Use at your own risk 2. Bring your own stall guard.3. Do NOT tie horses to the fences4. NO alcohol 5. NO dogs6. NO complaints from the neighbors, be quiet!7. No campfires.
