Award-winning Chef Chris Viaud is returning for an encore dinner after selling out our Grand Opening Event! For this one-of-a-kind experience, we&#x27;re partnering with Carmel Road Winery of the Jackson Family to kick off the summer with a delicious menu crafted by James Beard Nominated Chef Chris Viaud. Chef Chris Viaud, a James Beard Award semifinalist &amp; Top Chef Alumni, is the chef and owner of Greenleaf and Ansanm, both located in Milford NH and Pavilion located in Wolfeboro NH. Upon graduating from Johnson and Wales, Viaud moved to Boston where he spent three of his most formative years at Deuxave, where he worked through the ranks. Viaud focuses primarily on seasonal locally grown products which inspire his menu creations. He plans and executes a balanced meal that incorporates different flavors and textures that entertain the palate which allows for a unique dining experience each time. Chef Viaud has recently begun focusing a lot more of his time and energy into the exploration of his Haitian Heritage.The Jackson Family was drawn to the area two decades ago, attracted by the combination of cool, foggy nights and warm, sunny, days that ripen fruit to perfection. Once thought too cool for vineyards, Monterey is now considered one of the premiere growing regions in California. Our sustainably farmed vineyards stretch across windswept benchlands, where the maritime climate and well-drained, alluvial gravel soils produce highly expressive wines. The first vintage of Carmel Road wines was released in 1999.The Westbrook Inn was first settled as Nutfield in 1719 by twenty Scotch-Irish families from Ireland. Nutfield is believed to be the first Scotch-Irish settlement in America. Westbrook&#x27;s land was used as the Common Field where the first white potato, an Irish staple, in America was planted.
