About this event

The convening is your opportunity to learn about Federal resources and actionable, ready-to-use strategies for creating inclusive educational environments and ensuring nondiscrimination to support LGBTQI+ students in your school or district. The convening will feature:

• Prominent experts from the Departments of Education, Justice, and Health and Human Services who will share Federal resources;

• Teachers and school leaders who will share concrete and practical tips for you to use in planning for the new school year; and

• LGBTQI+ students who will share firsthand what kinds of support enable them to thrive at school
