Suzy Edmonson, LOT, RMT, C-AK, SNC has been an occupational therapist since 1985.  She has been practicing complementary methods to promote health and relaxation since 1995, and is a massage therapist, yoga teacher, touch therapy teacher, and Spiritual Nutrition Counselor. Suzy has completed a masters-level program in raw, vegan nutrition through world-reknowned holistic physician Gabriel Cousens, MD, at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center. The lifestyle program Suzy teaches has been instrumental in her recovery from autoimmune arthritis, and it is the lifestyle she follows as a cancer survivor.

In this education-rich and budget-friendly health retreat/workshop, you&#x27;ll learn the substantial benefits of various healing modalities which will open you to more vitality: a raw, organic, vegan diet, Shibashi qi gong exercise, gentle yoga (no experience required), therapeutic touch, aromatherapy, and centering/meditative prayer. You&#x27;ll also assist in the preparation of and enjoy delicious, simple raw, organic, vegan meals. Studies have shown that a raw, vegan diet assists greatly in managing a variety of health conditions, and it will bring vitality to your life and yoga practice! For those who are interested, following the retreat, you might take an opportunity to hike at Eagle Mountain Lake Park, approximately 20 minutes southeast of the retreat location, near the cabins at the Creek Harbor Fish Camp.Where: 12 Eagle Point N., Azle, TX.Accommodations: The health retreat/workshop is within commuting distance if you live in the Dallas/Forth Worth area. You may also enjoy a comfortable twin-size bed in an upstairs bunkroom for women. There are local hotels, as well as VRBO options available for men, couples, and for women who prefer private accommodations; there are also rustic cabins at Creek Harbor Fish Camp, ~ 20 minutes away, near Eagle Mountain Park. Participants must be able to climb stairs if wanting to participate in the yoga classes or to stay overnight, as the womens&#x27; bunk room and yoga classes are located upstairs. The meal preparation and PowerPoint lectures will be held downstairs, in the main house.Cost: Early bird registration $225. until July 1 and late registration is $275. - includes all meals and classes. Receive a discount of $25. per registration if you register with a friend, and a $50. discount per registration, if you register with more than one friend.
