Private Rooftop Cigar & Spirits Pairing at View of the World Terrace

Fine Tobacco Club was founded in 2009 in New York City as “Fine Tobacco NYC.” It began with a simple goal: to bring together cigar smokers to appreciate the art and craft of fine tobacco together. What started as a few friends learning about cigars together has become perhaps the largest regularly meeting cigar group in the world. Each month, we bring together anyone who loves cigars, libations, and good conversation for cigar and spirits pairings, live jazz events, summer rooftop events, new product releases and more. After more than 200 gatherings over 10 years, Fine Tobacco Club now seeks to bring new experiences, friendships, and products to fine tobacco lovers everywhere.

A brand new release from the legendary Plasencia family, the Plasencia Alma del Fuego radiates passion and highlights the strong character of the volcanic soil that stems from the Ometepe Island. The cigar offers a hint of spice, complemented by savory notes of tangerine, roasted cashews, and guava wood. Sun-grown wrappers from the fields of Jalapa Valley were carefully selected, complementing the cigar with a sweet character.

Plantation Rum is owned by French Cognac producer Maison Ferrand, who control no less than a dozen major brands premium spirits and liqueurs. Sometimes that is an iffy proposition, but not in this case because the folks at Ferrand are all about quality … and you can taste it. Plantation Rum is their top shelf Rum label. And mighty good stuff it is, too. They offer a variety of Rums from the Caribbean. Depending on the plantation and the country of origin, the Rums can vary between soft and aromatic to light and elegant … each one showing the gentle, experienced influence of Maison Ferrand.
