The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), a City of Los Angeles-established nonprofit organization, is creating an inclusive green economy by: unlocking innovation through working with startups to accelerate the commercialization of clean technologies; transforming markets through partnerships with policymakers, innovators and market leaders in transportation, energy and sustainable cities; and enhancing communities through workforce development, pilots and other programs. Anastasia Maier currently serves as General Counsel at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) where she supports LACI and its portfolio companies in the day-to-day operations. Prior to joining LACI, Anastasia worked as managing partner at Sustainable Law Group LP. Her legal career is rooted in a passion to help redefine what traditional businesses look like by assisting cross-sectoral clients develop forward thinking nonprofit and social enterprise strategies. Anastasia has served in a variety of advisory roles to push for critical progress including the <A HREF="http://osb.lacounty.gov/pdfs/SE_Brochure.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Los Angeles County Social Enterprise Advisory Group</A>. As a beekeeper herself, she is also very active in the food and agriculture space. Most recently, she has championed the use of <A HREF="http://sustainable-lawyer.com/planting-the-seeds-understanding-ca-ab551-urban-agriculture-incentive-zones/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AB551</A> to support urban agriculture development in Los Angeles. Anastasia believes in building community and collaboration to facilitate real change. Hildreath Anderson is the Webmaster for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). She is a proud board member of the LADWP Employees’ Association and participates in a variety of committees such as the Mutual Assistance and Donors’ Welfare Committees to improve the wellbeing of her colleagues and the public. She enjoys mentoring, providing advice, and training colleagues or members of the community. She has been a community volunteer and liaison, working with young developing children and our elders who live in retirement settings. She earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Cal State, Los Angeles, and her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Economics and Management. Learning, listening, and understanding are Hildreath’s true passions, which allows and guides her to implement change systematically.

Oksana Beneteau brings over seventeen years of leadership experience, specializing in crisis management and enterprise-wide transformations in the media and entertainment, healthcare, and hospitality industries. She exudes strong executive presence advising C-level executive clients on maximizing program benefits while minimizing risks on their key transformations worldwide. At EY, Oksana has focused on high-profile engagements at clients such as Sony, Cigna, Centene, USC, and Carnival Cruise Lines.  Before joining Ernst & Young, she has led numerous $50+ million global project portfolios for IT, engineering, and business. Oksana’s personal drive is to inspire, develop, and groom the next generation of diverse EY professionals.

Elisa Gomez is the Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer at Sunbox, a tech-enabled marketplace for healthy food that makes it quick and convenient to eat nutritiously at work through smart, self-service kiosks. Elisa spent her childhood in a small, rural town in El Salvador. Having come to the United States at an early age, Elisa spent her career in banking and focused on helping local small businesses grow and succeed. Trying to juggle a hectic work schedule with a healthy lifestyle, Elisa became nostalgic for the ease of healthful eating she knew as a child. Passionate about giving back to her community, Elisa and her best friend and co-founder Vanessa take pride in working with and supporting local small business owners. Outside of Sunbox, Elisa has an overwhelming love for coffee, salsas picantes and her dog Leo - not necessarily in that order. Rosie is a Staff Engineer at Tesla, where she works on developing new materials and manufacturing processes to enable designs that help transition the world to sustainable energy. Prior to working in engineering, Rosie worked at a nonprofit family resource center, volunteered on organic farms, and taught first grade, all with the aim of positively impacting her local and global communities.  She believes that engineering can and should be used to make the world a better place, and that engineers should listen more than they talk. Rosie is passionate about creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces, because the journey matters just as much as the end result. She has served on the board of the Women in Tesla employee resource group (ERG), currently leads the Intersectionality at Tesla ERG, and has consulted on D&I strategies and equitable hiring practices for startups.

Evette Ellis is an impactful and thought provoking trainer and orator. She is also the co-founder of Infuse Consulting.  Using her candid humor and passion, she shares tools for success but often challenges her audiences to think critically. With over ten years of experience overseeing coordination and delivery of small, medium to large learning experiences in the professional realm, Evette also dedicates time to serve her church and community.  Evette celebrates her seventh year at Long Beach Job Corps where she is the Outreach and Retention Specialist serving youth/young adult ages 16 to 24 years old. Evette is happily married to Clyde and resides in Long Beach.
