In the spirit of the treasured legacy of Peking University - Science and Democracy, PKUAANC organizes social, academic and business activities with the purpose of assisting the professional and personal growth of our alumni, promoting communication between people in America and China.PKUAANC was officially founded in May 1992 with the efforts of many alumni. 6月17日，北大计算机学院院长胡振江院长，张铭教授和郭耀教授联袂莅临，访问湾区，北大北加州校友会邀请湾区的同学校友，尤其是三位老师的弟子，和三位老师共进简单的午餐，一起交流，共叙师生情谊，关注母校发展，探索科技前沿。欢迎大家参与！以下是来访团专家教授简介：胡振江教授计算机学院院长 Prof. Zhenjiang Hu, Dean of the School of Computer Science，Peking University.胡振江，北京大学讲席教授、计算机学院院长。日本东京大学信息工学专业博士，先后担任东京大学情报理工学研究科助理教授和副教授，日本国立信息学研究所教授/系主任， 东京大学情报理工学研究科教授。胡振江长期从事程序设计语言和软件科学与工程的研究，并取得了突出的研究成果，被评为21世纪先驱科学家（日本科学技术振兴机构），日本工学会会士，电气与电子工程师协会（IEEE）会士，欧洲科学院院士，日本工程院院士。郭耀教授计算机学院副院长Prof. Yao Guo, Vice Dean of School of Computer Science, Peking University.郭耀教授分别于1997年和2000年获得得北京大学获学士及硕士学位，并于2003-2007在美国麻省大学取得博士学位。郭耀教授主要研究方向为新型操作系统的设计、操作系统性能优化、机器人操作系统，移动计算及软件安全等。张铭教授计算机学院计算机系副系主任Prof. Ming Zhang, Deputy Director of Department of Computer Science, School of Computer Science，Peking University.张铭教授自1984年从湖南考入北京大学，先后获学士、硕士和博士学位，兼任教育部计算机课程教指委委员，ACM教育专委会惟一的中国理事，主持的国家科技部科技创新2030重大项目子课题、国家自然科学基金面上等项目，并入选“全球2000位最具影响力AI学者”。她主讲的“数据结构与算法”，入选为国家级和北京市级精品课程、国家级精品资源共享课程、国家精品在线课程。 在Coursera、edX和华文慕课开设“数据结构与算法”MOOC课程，获得中国高校计算机教育MOOC联盟优秀课程奖。
