Session 3 September 26th: ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences)This session offers an introduction to the neuroscience of early childhood development and how and adult’s Adverse Childhood Experiences impact both our parenting and our children. We will also explore what we can do to build resiliency.Session 4 October 3rd: Behavior has MeaningLearn how to determine the meaning of behavior, make expectations clear, and develop/use household rules.Session 5 October 10th: The Power of RoutinesSetting up successful routines and transitions. Using evidence and research based prevention strategies. Session 6 October 24th: Teach Me What to DoLearn how to increase your child’s social-emotional vocabulary and help them to appropriately express their feelings, manage anger, problem-solve, and handle disappointment.Session 7 November 7th: Responding with PurposeUnderstanding how to respond to challenging behaviors to ensure the integrity of the relationship is maintained. Session 8 November 14th: Putting it all Together with a Plan Developing a behavior plan to use during daily routines. Learn how to use your Family Routine Guide.

Virtual Parenting Workshop starting September 12th. This is an 8 week course that will meet Tuesday evenings from 6-8 pm. Positive Solutions for Families is an evidence and researched based curricula with years of success behind it. In addition we will share a special introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences and how we can work to grow you and your child’s resilience.
