Register for this free and virtual information session led by Rev: Ithaca Startup Works!The <a href="https://www.revithaca.com/manufacturing-hardware-accelerator/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator</a> is a cohort-based program led by <a href="https://www.revithaca.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rev: Ithaca Startup Works</a> that supports hardware startups that are ready to bring their prototypes into production. The program is funded by the <a href="https://www.eda.gov/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">U.S. Economic Development Administration</a> and offered in partnership with <a href="https://www.engineering.cornell.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cornell Engineering</a>. Over the course of the 52-week program, entrepreneurs are provided with valuable entrepreneurial and design for manufacturing programming, one-on-one mentorship, and networking opportunities—including introductions to manufacturers and investors. The cohort will meet virtually twice a month and in-person in Ithaca, NY approximately three times during the program for immersive experiences and manufacturing tours. After a successful inaugural cohort, we’re excited to continue offering an AgTech track for agriculture technology startups that are ready to manufacture innovations in areas such as farming operations, animal husbandry, and food processing. Participants in the AgTech track will receive specialized training and mentorship and will be connected to experts and potential partners in the region’s robust agrifood ecosystem. Application for Cohort 4, which will run from October 2023 to September 2024, open on June 14 and applicants will be selected on a rolling basis. ELIGIBILITY: The Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator is designed for startups based anywhere in the U.S. that have already developed a fully functional prototype and identified a viable customer market. Hardware and physical product startups with innovations geared toward businesses or consumers that include electronics, plastics, enclosures, mechanisms, and or machines are encouraged to apply.
